Sarah Moe
Lead Instructor
Sarah is a West Des Moines, Iowa native and 2002 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College. While completing her master’s degree at Minnesota State University-Mankato (2005), Moe began her coaching career, serving as the head women's hockey coach at St. Olaf College and assistant women’s hockey coach at her alma mater Gustavus, where her team advanced to the NCAA Division III Frozen Four. Moe spent six seasons as head girls’ hockey coach of the LSHSP Lady Bulldogs and five years as a head coach and manager of girls’ player development at Minnesota Made Hockey. Moe is now the Program Director and Lead Instructor for Moe Hockey LLC.
Aside from coaching, Moe is an MSHSL and MIAC on-ice official with girls' state tournament final appearances each of the last three years. As a player, Moe was named the 2002 Women’s Hockey College Division Player of the Year, claimed two All-America honors, and was twice named MIAC Player of the Year. In 2002, she was a top-ten finalist and the only Division III candidate for the prestigious NCAA Woman of the Year award. Moe still holds Gustavus program records for most goals in a game, career goals, and career hat tricks, and was inducted into the Gustavus Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017. After college, Moe went on to play with the Manitoba Maple Leafs of the WWHL (2011-12), the Brampton Thunder of the CWHL (2012-14), and the Minnesota Whitecaps (2015-16).
